§ 11-16. Definitions.

As used in this article:

Business of dealing in precious metals shall mean, and include any person, or an agent thereof, who solicits to buy, advertises to buy or who negotiates to buy, or who does actually purchase by cash, trade or barter, precious metals. Precious metals are defined to mean gold, silver, and platinum.

Purchase shall include all transactions by cash, credit, trade or barter.
