§ 16-3. Civil service system established.*

The Quorum Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, does hereby authorize the establishment of a civil service system for all personnel in the Office of the Sheriff of Pulaski County, Arkansas; and, for the purpose of establishing such civil service system, the quorum court does hereby elect to bring itself under the provisions of Act 952 of 1977 (Ark. Stat. Ann. § 12-1120, et seq.), as amended.
