§ 2-125. Power.

  • (a)

    Any administrative board with the power to issue orders has the power to adjudicate.

    (b)

    "Order" means the final disposition of an administrative board in any matter, other than rule making, and including licensing and rate making, in which the administrative board is required by law to make its determination after notice and hearing.

    (c)

    "Adjudication" means administrative board process for the formulation of an order.

    (d)

    The power to issue orders or adjudicate must be specifically granted by ordinance or law.
