§ 4-27. Article not to limit appointment of attorneys in individual cases.

  • This article is passed in lieu of the circuit judges having to make individual appointments under Arkansas Statutes section 43-2419 in all criminal cases with indigent defendants. Nothing herein, however, shall be construed to limit the authority of the circuit judges to appoint an attorney for an indigent defendant under such statute section whenever good cause or the law requires it.
