§ 11-22. Same—Open to inspection by law enforcement personnel; required reports.

The director of the state police department, the sheriff of the county or the members
of their respective law enforcement offices shall have access to all records required
by section 11-21 at any and all times; and, the director or sheriff may require the dealer in precious
metals, who is doing business in the county, to furnish a report of the dealer's record
of transactions (as required by such section, for such periods of time as such officer
deems necessary for the efficient enforcement of the criminal laws or to aid in criminal
investigations. Each transaction failed to be recorded, or reported by the dealer
in precious metals, as required in this article shall be deemed a separate violation,
and offense, under this article.
