§ 2-165. Military leaves of absence.

Military leaves of absence authorized by the personnel policy manual shall be in addition to regular vacation leave allowed to county employees. The provisions of this section shall not apply to job absence resulting from non-mandatory "active duty for training" programs. Employees shall apply for vacation leave or leave without pay to participate in non-mandatory military training and education.
