§ 8-30. Violation—Penalty.

Any person found to be in violation of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined five hundred dollars ($500.00) for the first offense and double that amount for each successive offense. An "offense" is defined as: (i) any package of medical waste brought into Pulaski County which does not meet the pretreatment requirements of section 8-27 of this article, or (ii) any package of medical waste which does not meet the packaging requirements of section 8-28 of this article.
