§ 2-286. Membership; chairman; executive director; compensation.

The board shall consist of three (3) members, who shall be the county judge, the county sheriff and the county clerk. The county judge shall serve as chairman of the board. The board may also appoint an executive director who shall not be a member of the board and who shall serve at the pleasure of the board and receive such compensation as shall be fixed by the board. The members of the board shall receive no compensation for their services but shall be entitled to reimbursement of expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.
